Initial Assessment

What Happened

Homeowner had two large dogs and a forced-air HVAC system that hadn't been cleaned since the home was built eight years ago. Allergies were getting worse, the registers were visibly furry, and the family was ready for a full source-removal clean.

Damage Inventory

Scope of Damage

Trunk & Branches

Moderate

Eight years of dust, pet dander, and construction debris compacted in the trunk lines and branch runs.

Registers & Boots

Light

Visible buildup on every supply boot. Cleaned and sanitized one-by-one.

Air Handler & Blower

Moderate

Blower wheel coated. Cleaned in place. New high-MERV filter installed.

Restoration Process

How We Solved It

  1. 1

    System Inspection

Borescope inspection of trunks and branches before any cleaning. Photo documentation of pre-condition.

  2. 2

    NADCA Source Removal

Negative-pressure vacuum on the main trunk while compressed-air whips and brushes agitated each branch back to the vacuum.

  3. 3

    Register & Boot Cleaning

Every register pulled, washed, and sanitized. Boots HEPA-vacuumed and wiped before reinstall.

  4. 4

    Air Handler Service

Blower wheel, evaporator coil, and condensate pan cleaned. New filter and treated drain line.

  5. 5

    Post-Cleaning Inspection

Borescope walk-through with the homeowner. Before/after photos sent the same day.
